The Center for Gender, Race, and Area Studies allows you to gain a unique skillset drawn from a range of disciplines. Choose between two majors: Asian Studies (B.A.) and Women’s and Gender Studies (B.A.). or explore a concentration in Africana Studies, Asian Studies, Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies, Genocide and Humans Rights Studies, Latin American and Latinx​ Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies, or Women’s and Gender Studies.

As a student in the undergraduate program, you will have the opportunity to explore the intersections of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, class, and ability.

Concentrations

Enrich your major by pursuing a concentration in one of five areas: Africana Studies, Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies, Genocide and Human Rights, Latin American and Latinx Studies, and Peace and Conflict Studies.
